Day 01: Malindi – Tsavo East
Depart from your residence at around 0500 hrs and drive for Tsavo East National Park. Arrive at camp or Lodge for lunch. Enjoy a day of game viewing including a visit to Mudanda rock is a major rock outcrop about 1.6 km long, where visitors can walk along the rock and view wildlife at the base while enjoying a cool breeze.
Red Elephants are abundant – some undoubtedly the descendants of the famous Man-eaters of Tsavo! The floodlit waterhole at your lodge invites a parade of animals every night in search of quick drink of water. Return to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight after afternoon game drive.
Day 02: Tsavo East – Malindi/Watamu
After breakfast depart the Park while on game viewing including a visit to Lugards falls on the Galana River where visitors can walk down to the river to view the rapids. Aruba dam, built in 1959 across the Voi River, attract many animals and water birds. You will arrive at your residential hotel by lunch time.
