DAY 02 NAIROBI – SAMBURU
After breakfast depart to Samburu National Reserve in the northern frontier district, passing the Equator. You will arrive in time for lunch at your Safari Lodge. Afternoon game viewing drives in the Reserve – a scenario of semi-arid land, treeless plains and rugged landscape.
Enjoy the wild beauty of Samburu, home to elephants, buffalo, cheetah, lion and leopard and the rarely seen elsewhere “the long necked Gerenuk, the Grevy’s zebra, the reticulated giraffe and the blue legged Somali ostrich”. Dinner and overnight at camp or lodge.
DAY 03 SAMBURU
Full day game viewing drives in the Reserve. Meals and overnight at camp or lodge.
DAY 04 SAMBURU – NANYUKI
After breakfast you drive South out of the hot and dust climate of Samburu up onto Mt. Kenya heading for William Holden’s former home. Mount Kenya Safari Club, in time for a buffet lunch.
The air is invigorating and clouds permitting, the club terrace offers a spectacular view of Mt. Kenya peak’s Batian and Lenana. Dinner and overnight at camp or lodge.
DAY 05 NANYUKI – ABERDARE
After breakfast drive to the Highlands of Aberdare range and into the Aberdare Country Club in time for a buffet lunch. Your main luggage is stored here.
After lunch you will be transferred to (with your overnight bag) to The Ark. Here you may view closely elephants, rhinos, giant forest hogs, antelopes, leopard, Cape buffalo and on occasion the rare and exclusive bongo. Lush green trees provide the ideal habitat for baboons and colourful birds.
From the viewing gallery you can see the animals at night illuminated by floodlight. Dinner and overnight at the Ark.
DAY 06 ABERDARE – LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast descend to the floor o the Rift Valley and to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch.
Afternoon game, viewing drive around the lake home of a million lesser and greater flamingos.
Later proceed to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for your evening tea. Dinner and overnight at camp or lodge.
DAY 07 LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA
After breakfast drive along the floor of the Valley to Masai Mara with a brief stop at Narok. You will reach your Safari Lodge in time for your lunch. Afternoon game viewing drives in the Reserve, one of the world’s finest with its rich Savannah. Dinner and overnight at camp or lodge.
DAY 08 MASAI MARA
Full day game viewing drives in the Reserve – northern extension of the Serengeti Park in Tanzania. Here everything is on a grand scale.
Game viewing in an unspoiled wonderland – 1672 Sq. Kms. Of pristine wilderness. There are breath-taking vistas bounded only by the Loita Hills in the East and the dramatic Syria Escarpment to the West. The Masai tribesmen may be observed attending their daily chores, virtually unaffected by the progress of time. The Masai has dominated these plains for thousands of years.
This is the setting for the awesome migration of some two million wildebeest and zebras (which usually takes place between July and September) a panorama of magnificent animals en route north as The Serengeti dries out and The Mara becomes their oasis. Meals and overnight at camp or lodge

DAY 09 MASAI MARA – NAIROBI/MALINDI
After early morning breakfast return to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch the famous Carnivore restaurant. Afternoon you will be transferred to the Airport for your 1 hour flight the Glorious Kenya Coastal town of Malindi where you will be me at transferred to your Beach resort.
