DAY 01: Malindi – Tsavo East
Pickup from your residence or hotel drive through Sala gate, which is about two and half hours drive from Malindi. You’ll arrive in time for lunch at the camp or lodge. After lunch, leisure at the Camp’s swimming pool and there is a waterhole where animals come to drink some water. Afternoon game viewing in the Park. Return to the Camp for dinner and overnight at a camp or a lodge.
Tsavo East National Park is called the theater of the wild. Its major attractions are large herds of red elephant and other wildlife. Yatta plateau about 300 km in length is one of the world’s longest lava flows. Lugards Falls on the Galana River where visitors can walk down to the river to view the rapids. Mudanda rock is a major rock outcrop about 1.6 km long, visitors can walk along the rock and view wildlife at the base while enjoying a cool breeze. Aruba dam, built in 1959 across the Voi River, attract many animals and water birds.
DAY 02: Tsavo East – Tsavo West
After breakfast continue with your safari to Tsavo West, you’ll arrive in time for lunch at their restaurant. You’ll be staying at the stunning lodge or camp situated inside the park where you’ll which has great views over the park.
After lunch you’ll be taken on a late afternoon game drive and a visit to the Mzima Springs where you may see hippos and Nile crocodiles, fish watching, elephant, lava flows and many different species of bird. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at a camp or lodge.
DAY 03: Tsavo West – Malindi
After breakfast depart the Park while on game viewing en- route to Malindi or Watamu. Stop over at Voi for lunch; arrive at your hotel or resident at late afternoon.
